Term Dates

Our classes follow Wiltshire school’s timetable and we invoice in half term/6 week blocks. Dates for a block of classes will be sent out at the beginning of each term.

Our teachers are also working dancers and occasionally have other projects going on during term time so we may not be able to have a class on that week. If this happens it will be reflected ahead of time in the dates for the term and the cost. We will make sure that this is clear in all communications and will also send out a reminder to parents before the day. Where possible we will cover these classes with a guest teacher.

Fees and Payment and Re-Enrolment

All fees must be paid on or before the first class of the block of classes.

All fees are paid through Book That In. For regular weekly classes we use an automatic re-enrolment system. This ensures that your child’s place in the class is held and makes payment easier. We send out an email before a new block of classes starts to let you know the dates and give opportunity for parent to let us know if a child is not returning. After this we will take automatic payment through Book That In before the new class block starts. Please contact createmovedance if you do not receive a re-enrolment email.

All fees are non-refundable. If a pupil has a long-term illness or injury, fees may be refunded at the createmovedance’s discretion. This does not include minor illness or holidays taken during the term.

Classes and Attendance

On the rare occasion that a class is cancelled, it will be rescheduled, usually during the school holidays. If this is not possible, any fees already paid for the scheduled class will be subtracted from the next term’s fees.

Createmovedance will not be held responsible for classes cancelled for circumstances beyond the School’s control i.e. due to adverse weather conditions / a force majeure.

Communication

We communicate through email and also have a Whats App community for announcements and for each of our classes. Once you have enrolled for classes you will be added to the createmovedance Whats App community and to the group that your child/ren are attending. You will also be subscribed to our website so that you can recieve updates on classes – you unsuscribe to this at any time.

Clothing

Please wear something loose and comfortable that you and your child can easily move in.

 The floor is slippery so we prefer children to have bare feet but this is a parents decision. Sometimes the floor is cold so you could choose socks that are designed with some grip.

Health

Please notify createmovedance of any medical issues or learning difficulties that may affect your child’s learning, however big or small it should be. This can help us to help them.

Any injuries should be discussed with the teacher prior to, or at the beginning of, class.

If a child is ill and not able to dance please do not bring them to class.

Photographs and Film

On occasion createmovedance take photographs or videos for advertisement of classes and events. The use of these can include our website, social media and printed material. These will not be used without consent.
