Home Ed Theatre Club

If you are a home educating family this is for you!

Storylines is a weekly creative session for home educating families that combines movement, music, art and drama to explore and create interesting stories that can be shared with family and friends. All of our projects encourage participants to contribute their own ideas and use their imagination, whilst developing their skills, knowledge and understanding of the world.

Sessions are currently aimed at children 4 – 11 years, younger children will be able to participate with parent support and older children will be invited to engage at their level in whatever way works for them.

General Information

The hall will be open from 9:30 – 1:00 pm  so famlies are welcome to arrive early and stay to play and have lunch together after the session

Langley Burrell Village Hall hall has ample parking and there is a childrens play area and field that will be available for children to play in before and after the session.

Parents are expected to stay and participate with their children during the session. This helps to build a sense of community, provides great support for our creative endeavors and helps to keeps the cost down.

The kitchen will be available during the session to make hot drinks for adults (squash/water for children) and we ask families to take turns on a rota to provide a snack for the group during the morning.

The project will be led by Rachel Sinclair, who has 20 years plus experience working with homeschooling families and running similar projects. Rachel also homeschooled her own 2 children, one of whom had special needs, she understands all stages of the journey and the unique journey taken by a homeschool parent navigating the educational journey.
